Use this form to send me an email. It is not just a plain old form submission, that may get lost or forgotten in some web folder.

This form actually sends me an email... the deal is that it sends me an email that does not have to go through all the anti spam stuff, or the TMDA challenge Response system, on my email server.

Yep, a direct line to me... So make it worthwhile, because the one thing this form submitted email does not make it passed... is my blacklist.

So use it wisely... you may only get one chance.

It should also be noted that quite a lot of information about you gets logged when you use this form, not just what you submit, but rather detailed information about your IP, and ISP, your browser, operating system, and other interesting bits and pieces.

Now I have a simple privacy policy: No information about you will ever be given to anyone. It's your information, not mine... EXCEPT if you end up on the blacklist, in which case all bets are off.

I know this all sounds real unfriendly, but actually I like to hear from regular people, I just hate spam, and have fixed it so I don't have to deal with it.

  • Your email address (Required):

If this is about an eBay item, please put a check in the box:

Include any comments here. Like who you are, and why I should add you to the white list... This is not required... but it might be a good idea...

If you're ready click now, or if you want to start over.

A few more possibly interesting things:

Here's a simple mailto link if you want: Don@DonHensley.com. This may work for you, but there are a few things to think about:

1. It needs to be VERY clean and simple to get passed the anti spam stuff.

2. If it makes it passed the anti spam, then you will have only 5 hours to respond to the TMDA challenge.

3. There is no "spam" folder, if it doesn't get passed the anti spam and the TMDA challenge it just gets sent to /dev/null/ so it's gone for good. And I never even know it happened.

4. The anti spam stuff is very rigorous, TMDA only challenges about one fourth of 1% of the non white-listed email my server receives (and, of course, it challenges none of the white-listed email). That's right, only 1 out of 400.

5. Using the form should seem like a good idea by now... but it's your choice.

And one last thing; This form only does one thing - it sends an email to me - it can not be used to relay email or spam somebody else by entering some one else's email address (it doesn't CC or BCC, or send you a copy of what you submit).

It does however give you a confirmation page that I will receive the information you submitted. And I will receive it... I'm looking forward to adding another good guy (or gal) to my whitelist.

Thanks for your time and understanding,
Don.
